ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Finance

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Chris Markus played his third season of men's soccer and is running his second season of track at Baldwi Wallace University in 2014-2015. This fall, he received a certificate of participation in soccer and hopes to earn his first varsity letter in track.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Chris did not run indoor track.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Chris ran his first season of indoor track. He had season-bests of 7.92 seconds in the 55-meter dash, 28.06 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 1:03.36 in the 400-meter dash.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Chris is running his second season of indoor track.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:   As a freshman in 2012-2013, Chris did not run outdoor track.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Chris ran in his first season of outdoor track and received a certificate of participation. He had season-bests of 12.70 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 26.11 seconds in the 200-merer dash and 59.95 seconds in the 400-meter dash.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Chris is running his second season of outdoor track and hopes to earn his first varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Chris grew up in Brooklyn, Ohio and graduated from Brooklyn High School.

Chris played four years of soccer and earned four varsity letters. He ran four years of track and earned four letters. He also played one season of basketball.

As a junior in soccer, Chris earned second-team All-PAC 10 and honorable mention All-Greater Cleveland honors.  As a senior, Chris made the second-team All-PAC 10 and second-team All-Greater Cleveland teams and was the Brooklyn High School Most Valuable Player.  He was a team captain as a junior and senior.

Academically, Chris is a member of the National Honor Society and was named as a Scholar-Athlete in both soccer and track.
