ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Pre-Engineering

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Sammy Ibrahim played his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He received his second certificate of participation.

Sammy also is competing in his third season of indoor track (winter) and outdoor track (spring) and hopes to earn his third varsity letter in track and a Certificate of Participation for his efforts in football.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy ran his first season of indoor track. He long jumped and ran sprints. He recorded the team's best long jump of the season with a distance of 19'4". He also had a season-best of 7.18 seconds in the 55-meter dash.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy ran his second season of indoor track. He had a career-best of 19'11".75 in the long jump.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Sammy is competing in his third season of indoor track.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy rann his first season of outdoor track and earned his first varsity letter. He had the team's best long jump with a leap of 21'3.5". He also had areer-bests of 11.94 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 25.35 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy ran his second season of track and earned his second letter. He had a season-best of 12.07 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 20'11.75" in the long jump.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Sammy is competing in his third season of track and hopes to earn his third letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Sammy grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio and graduated from North Olmsted High School. 

Sammy played four years of football and earned two varsity letters. He also ran four years pf track and lettered three times.

In track as a senior, Sammy earned first-team All-Southwestern Conference honors in the 4x100-meter, 4x200-meter relay and long jump. He was a District and Regional qualifier in the 4x200 relay, a District qualifier in the long jump and a member of the N.O.H.S. school-record sprint medley relay team in 1:36.04. As a junior, Sammy earned first-team All-SWC honors and was a District and Regional qualifier in the 4x100 relay. He also earned second-team All-SWC honors and was a District qualifier in the 4x200 relay.

Academically, Sammy was an Honor Roll student for four years, earned an Honors Diploma and was named the 2011 N.O.H.S. Physics Student of the Year.
