ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Pre-Engineering/ Mathematics

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Sammy Ibrahim played his second season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He earned his second certificate of participation.

He also is competing in his third season of indoor track (winter) and outdoor track (spring) and hopes to earn his third varsity letter.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sammy played his first season of football and received a certificate of participation. He saw all of his action as a safety on defense on the junior varsity team. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Sammy played his second season of football. He moved to wide receiver and played on the junior varsity team. He was unable to finish the season due to an injury. BW finished 6-4 overall.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Sammy played his third season of football and received his second certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and JV teams at WR. Sammy saw action in two varsity games but did not catch a pass.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Sammy grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio and graduated from North Olmsted High School. 

Sammy played four years of football and earned two varsity letters. He also ran four years pf track and lettered three times.

In track as a senior, Sammy earned first-team All-Southwestern Conference honors in the 4x100-meter, 4x200-meter relay and long jump. He was a District and Regional qualifier in the 4x200 relay, a District qualifier in the long jump and a member of the N.O.H.S. school-record sprint medley relay team in 1:36.04. As a junior, Sammy earned first-team All-SWC honors and was a District and Regional qualifier in the 4x100 relay. He also earned second-team All-SWC honors and was a District qualifier in the 4x200 relay.

Academically, Sammy was an Honor Roll student for four years, earned an Honors Diploma and was named the 2011 N.O.H.S. Physics Student of the Year.
