ACADEMIC MAJOR: Marketing and Finance
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Aaron Long is competing his third season of track and field at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He earned his third varsity letter in cross country in the fall of 2014 and hopes to earn his third letter in track.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Aaron carries a 3.316 grade point average and is a Dean's List student.
GENERTAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Aaron competed in his first season of indoor track and field. Aaron's season-best 500-meter run time came with a mark of 1:14.72 at the 2013 Mid-February Meet. He also ran the 800-meter run in a time of 2:07.94 and the one-mile run in a mark of 4:42.97.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Aaron competed in his second season of indoor track. He middle distance and distance races. He had bests of 2:48.09 in the 1000-meter run, 4:52.22 in the 1-mile run and 18:17.61 in the 5000-meter run.
As a junior in 2014-2015, Aaron competed in his third season of indoor track. He competed in the middle distance races and had career-nest of 4:50.31 in the 1-mile run and a season-best of 2:55.11 in the 1000 meters.
OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Aaron competed in his first season of outdoor track and earned his first letter. He had bests in the 800-meter run (2:03.05), 1500-meter run (4:21.03) and 3000-meter steeplechase ( 11:15.03).
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Aaron competed in his second season of outdoor track and earned his second letter. He competed in middle distance and distance races. He had career-bests in the 1500 meters (4:16.66), 3000-meter steeplechase (10:47.52) and 5000-meter run (17:44.31), and a season-best in the 800 meters (2:04.42).
As a junior in 2014-2015, Aaron is competing in his third season of outdoor track and hopes to earn his third letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Aaron grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana and graduated from Penn High School. He ran cross country and track and earned four varsity letters in each.
Aaron was a Team Captain, earned NIC Honorable Mention, was selected Second-Team All-Conference, and was a 4x800 State Qualifier.
Academically, Aaron was a member of the Honor Roll. He also earned the Principle and Leadership Awards.
