ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Biology

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Brandon Eddy competed in four seasons of track and field at Baldwin Wallace University. The Division III All-American was one of the top heptathletes/ decathletes in NCAA Division III.

SCHOOL RECORDS:  Brandon owns BW school-records indoors in the pole vault (16-feet in 2012), high jump (6'10.25" in 2014) and seven-event heptathalon (5,115 points in 2014).

ALL-AMERICAN/ USTFCCA HONORS:  Brandon was an NCAA Division III All-American in the heptathlon in 2012 (fourth). In 2012, Brandon was named the USTFCCA Great Lakes Regional Field Athlete of the Year.

OAC TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Brandon was an Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week four times during his career.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD NOTES:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, Brandon competed in his first season of indoor track. He had season-bests of (15' 5") in the pole-vault and high jump (6' 5.50"). At the 2011 All-Ohio Meet, he won the pole-vault.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Brandon competed in his second season of indoor track. He broke the indoor school-record in the pole vault (16'0") at the B-W Mid-January Meet on Jan. 20 and was subsequently named as the OAC Field Event Athlete of the Week. Brandon scored 5,065 points at the University of Akron Multi-Event Meet on Feb. 3 and was subsequently was named as the OAC Field Event Athlete of the Week for the second time.  At the 2012 All-Ohio Meet, he high jumped a career-best 6'7.75" and pole vaulted 15'1" to win both events. He was tabbed as the OAC Field Event Athlete of the Week for the third time in four weeks. Brandon recevied all OAC by placing second in the high jump with a mark of  6' 7" and in the pole vault with a mark of 15' 2.25".  Brandon earned All-American honors and placed fourth in the heptathlon at the 2012 NCAA Division III National Indoor Track & Field Championships. He also finished 11th in the pole vault.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Brandon did not compete indoors.

As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Brandon competed in his third season of indoor track. He set a school record in the heptathalon with 5,115 points at the 2014 All-Ohio Division III Multi-Event Meet at Denison and subsequently was named as the OAC Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth time. At the OAC Championship Meet, he won the high jump and set a school-record with a leap of 6'10.25". He placed 13th in the heptathlon at the NCAA Division III National Indoor Championship Meet in Nebraska. He was winning the heptathlon through six of seven events, but was disqualified in the seventh event (the 1000-meter run) and fell from first to 13th.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Brandon competed in his fourth season of indoor track. He earned All-OAC honors in the high jump (second). He had bests of 7.48 seconds in the 60-meter dash, 7.92 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles, 9.42 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, 15'1.75" in the pole vault, 6'7" in the high jump, 21'4" in the long jump and 37'11.5" in the shot put.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD NOTES:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, Brandon competed in his first season of outdoor track and earned his first varsity letter.  He had bests of 15' 9.25" in the pole-vault and 6' 4" in the high jump. At the 2011 All-Ohio Meet, Brandon had won the pole-vault (15' 3"). At the OAC Championship Meet, he finished third in the pole-vault (14' 7.25") to earn All-OAC honors.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Brandon did not compete outdoors due to an injury.

As a red-shirt sophomore in 2012-2013, Bradon competed in his second season of outdoor track and lettered.  He had season-bests of 15'1" in the pole vault and set a personal-best in the javelin throw (159'4").

As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Brandon competed in his third season of outdoor track and earned his third letter. He had season-bests of 11.66 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 24.35 in the 200, 54.96 in the 400, 5:35.59 in the 1500, 15.33 seconds in the 110-meter high hurdles, 6'7.5" in the high jump, 15'1" in the pole vault, 21'8.75" in the long jump, 41'6.5" in the triple jump, 37'1.25" in the shot put, 119'3" in the discus and 172'8" in the javelin. He earned All-Ohio honors by placing second in the decathlon. He earned All-OAC accolades with third place showings in the high jump and 110-meter high hurdles. He placed 20th in the decathlon at the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship Meet.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Brandon is competing in his fourth season of outdoor track and hopes to earn his fourth letter. He placed 16th in the pole vault at the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship Meet.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Brandon grew up in Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio and graduated from Cuyahoga Heights High School. 

Brandon participated in football for four years and earned three varsity letters. He also participated in track and field for four years and earned four varsity letters.

In football in 2009, Brandon earned All-Chagrin Valley Conference honors.

In indoor track in 2010, Brandon was fifth in the high jump at the OHSAA State Indoor Championships. Outdoors, he was the CVC champion in the pole vault, high jump and 110-meter hurdles during the 2008, 2009 and 2010 seasons. In 2010 outdoors, he earned All-Ohio honors at the OHSAA State Championship Meet when he placed second in the pole vault and seventh in the high jump. His best performanceincluded the pole vault (15'0") and high jump (6'4").

Academically, Brandon graduated with Honors.
