GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: Chris Markus will play his second season of men's soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He will seek to earn his first varsity letter.
As a freshman in 2012-2013, Chris played his first season of soccer and received a certificate of participation. He was a backup goalkeeper and saw all of his action on the reserve team. The BW varsity finished 8-7-4 overall.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Chris competed in his second season of soccer and was the backup goalie for the team.

HOMETOWN and HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND: Chris Markus grew up in Brooklyn, Ohio and graduated from Brooklyn High School. He played four years of soccer, ran four years of track and participated in basketball. Chris earned four letters each in soccer and in track.
As a junior in soccer, Chris earned second-team All-PAC 10 and honorable mention All-Greater Cleveland honors. As a senior, Chris made the second-team All-PAC 10 and second-team All-Greater Cleveland teams and was the Brooklyn High School Most Valuable Player. He was a team captain as a junior and senior.
Academically, Chris is a member of the National Honor Society and was named as a Scholar-Athlete in both soccer and track.
