ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Biology

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  As a junior in 2013-2014, Trey played his third season of soccer and earned three varsity letters.

GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION:  Trey has had a solid soccer career thus far.  BW holds a 30-25-7 record following his third season in Brown & Gold.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Trey played his first season of soccer and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 20 matches and started 13. He took nine shots, including five on-goal, scored two goals and had four total points. He played a key role on a defense that allowed opponents just 24 goals in 22 matches, including six shutouts. Trey helped the Yellow Jackets win a single-season school-record 16 matches, post a 16-6 record and advance to their first ever NCAA Division III Tournament. He scored his first two collegiate goals in a 6-0 victory at home against the College of Mount St. Joseph. For his efforts, he was named as the BW "Rookie of the Year".

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Trey played his second season of soccer and earned his second letter. He appeared and started in 15 matches. Trey took 11 shots, including three on-goal, scored one goal for two points. Defensively, he helped BW allow just 24 opponent goals in 17 matches as BW finished 7-6-4 overall. Trey scored his third collegiate goal in a 2-0 victory against Defiance University.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Trey played his third season of soccer and earned his third letter. He appeared and started in 20 matches. Trey took nine shots, including six on-goal, and scored one goal for two points. For his efforts on and off the field, he was a first-team Academic All-OAC and received 2nd-team All-OAC honors for his efforts in conference play.  Trey was named to the OCSA All-Ohio 3rd-team and OCSA Academic All-Ohio 2nd-team.  Along with all these awards, Trey was voted Defensive Player of the Year by his teammates.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Trey Arney grew up in Coshocton, Ohio and played four years of soccer along with three years of basketball.

Trey was named the East Central Ohio League Player of the Year award winner three times. He was a three-time first-team All-ECOL selection. Following his sophomore season, he was named the Eastern District Player of the Year, and was also selected as a first-team All-Ohio performer. The following two seasons, Trey was named as a second-team All-Ohio performer. 

Trey was a member of the National Honor Society, carried a better than 3.5 grade point average and was a four-time first-team ECOL All-Academic selection. Trey was also a U.S. Marine Scholar-Athlete and the Wendy's Heisman award winner from Coshocton.
