BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2013-14, Ben competed in his third season of soccer at Baldwin Wallace University. He has earned three varsity letters.
GENERAL SOCCER INFORMATION: Ben had a solid soccer career sporting the Brown & Gold thus far. He has seen action in 58 games, starting 49 of them. He has recorded 14 goals, on 111 shots, and tallied five assists.
As a freshman in 2011-2012, Ben competed in his first season of soccer for the Yellow Jackets and he saw playing time in all 22 games and started in four of them. Ben scored five goals on 32 shots and also had one assists to help lead Baldwin Wallace to the best year in school history with a 16-6 overall record and their first ever NCAA tournament appearance.
As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Ben appeared in 16 games, starting 15 of them. He scored 6 goals and had 3 assists for a total of 15 points on the year. He was a key part of the offense to help the Yellow Jackets to a 7-7-4 record on the season.
As a junior in 2013-2014, Ben appeared in 20 games. He scored three goals and had one assist for a total of seven points. Ben played a key role in BW's offense. The Yellow Jackets finished with a 7-11-3 overall record.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Ben grew up in Richfield, Ohio and attended Revere High School. He played four years of soccer and earned three varsity letters. Ben also played one year of football, and earned a varsity letter.
Ben recieved a few accolades throughout his career at Revere, as following his junior and senior years he was named first team All-Suburban League and his senior year he was also named as a second team All-District Performer. During his senior season he recorded 13 goals and 18 assistants as he lead the Minutemen to the Division II State Championship.
