BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Peter Harris played four seasons of men's tennis at Baldwin Wallace University and is one of the best-ever to wear the Brown & Gold.
AMONG ALL_TIME CAREER LEADERS: Peter ranks fourth all-time in singles victories with 92 and had an 92-21 career record with an .814 winning percentage. He and classmate Doug Ganim '16 combined in doubles all four years and compiled an 89-26 record to rank third all-time. Peter's 181 career combinations wins, 181-47 overall record and .794 winning percentage ranks fourth all-time in school tennis history.
THE HARRIS LEGACY: Peter helped the Yellow Jackets compile an four-year mark of 81-16 with an .835 winning percentage.
ACADEMIC HONORS: Peter carried a 3.4 grade point average and was a Dean's List student.
ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE: As a junior in 2014-2015 and senior in 2015-2016, Peter was named as a ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Division III Scholar-Athlete.
OAC PLAYER OF THE YEAR: As a junior in 2014-2015, Peter was named as the OAC Player of the Year.
ALL-OAC HONORS: Peter was a four-time All-OAC selection. As a freshman in 2012-2013, he earned second-team All-OAC honors. As a sophomore in 2013-2014, junior in 2014-2015 and senior in 2015-2016, Peter earned first-team All-OAC honors.
BW TENNIS HONORS: As a junior in 2014-2015 and senior in 2015-2016, Peter was a team captain and received BW's Most Valuable Player Award.
OAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK: As a junior in 2014-2015, Peter was tabbed as the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on April 20, 2015. As a senior in 2015-2016, he was named as the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 15, 2016 and again on April 25, 2016.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Peter played his first season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. He started at No. 1 singles and was a member of the No.1 doubles tandem with classmate Doug Ganim '16. Peter had a 26-3 singles mark and combined with Ganim for a 21-9 doubles mark. For his efforts, he was named second-team All-OAC. BW finished 23-1 overall.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Peter played his second season of tennis and earned his second letter. He started at No.2 singles and No.1 doubles. Peter had an 18-6 record, including a 16-2 record at No.2 and a 7-2 mark against OAC opponents. In doubles, he and Ganim combined to compile a 22-6 record, including a 19-2 mark at No.1. Peter was named first-team All-OAC. BW finished 19-4 overall.
As a junior in 2014-2015, Peter played his third season of tennis and earned his third letter. He was a team captain. He started at No.1 singles and No.1 doubles. Peter was named as the 2015 Mark Lenssen OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year and as a first-team All-OAC selection for the second straight year. He also was BW's Most Valuable Player. Peter also was the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on April 20, 2015. He also earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. Peter compiled a 20-5 mark at No.1 singles and combined with classmate Doug Ganim '16 for the third straight year and the duo had a 22-4 doubles mark. BW finished 15-6 overall.
As a senior in 2015-2016, Peter played his fourth season of tennis and earned his fourth letter. He started at No.1 singles and No.1 doubles. He was named as the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 15, 2016 and again on April 25, 2016. He compiled a 27-6 singles and 24-8 doubles mark. Peter was a first-team All-OAC pick for the third straight year and an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second straight time. He also was a team captain and BW's 2015-2016 Most Valuable Player (second straight year). Peter helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 24-5 overall and 7-1 OAC regular season mark and place second at the 2016 OAC Tournament.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Peter Harris grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Revere High School.
Peter played four seasons of tennis and earned four varsity letters. He played on the 2009 Suburban League championship team and advanced to the District Tournament in doubles in 2011. He also advanced to the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) State Tournament in both 2011 and 2012.
FAMILY CONNECTION: Peter's younger brother, Matt Harris '19, was a member of the men's tennis team this spring and had a solid freshman season.
