BEREA, Ohio -
Baldwin Wallace University Sports and Media Information Director Jeff Miller '96 has announced that Dustin Parker will join the Office of Athletic Communications as an Athletic Communications Assistant for the 2018-19 season and will begin his duties on August 1.

Parker will serve as the primary contact for the Yellow Jacket baseball, men's basketball, tennis, volleyball, and wrestling teams. He will also assist with the other 17 varsity sports.

The Cincinnati, Ohio native comes to Berea after earning a Bachelor of Science in sport management from Mount St. Joseph University.

"I am more than excited to come work at Baldwin Wallace as it is a great opportunity to learn and grow," Parker said. "After meeting some of the faculty on campus, it seemed that they were great resources and people to be working with. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone at BW."

While at Mount St. Joseph, Parker played varsity football for three years. Stepping down from the team as a senior, he began working as a co-op in the sport information department. He gained his first experience serving as the primary contact for its baseball program and also worked closely with the softball and men's and women's basketball teams. Parker was also a writer in addition to helping manage their athletic website and running their social media accounts. Work aside, Parker was also a part of the Student Association of Sport Management.

He is an active member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
