Vidmar and Johnson Named Academic All-OAC in Women’s Golf

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior women's golfer Laura Vidmar (Willoughby/South) and junior Kelsey Johnson (Carmel, Ind./Park Tudor) have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Vidmar and Johnson are two of the of the 34 BW spring sports student-athletes named as Academic All-OAC.

In order to be selected as Academic All-OAC, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be in residence at the school for at least a year and maintain varsity status.

Vidmar, a four-year letterwinner and two-time All-OAC selection, earns her third career Academic All-OAC accolade.  She is an early childhood education major that carries a 3.85 grade point average.  Vidmar is one of six spring student-athletes to garner her third spring academic accolade.  She is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.  Vidmar is a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha, Kappa Delta Pi and Dayton C. Miller honor societies.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Johnson, who earned her first women's golf letter, garners her second career Academic All-OAC honor.  She also is a two-year letterwinner and an Academic All-OAC selection in women's lacrosse.  Johnson is an early childhood education major that carries a 3.66 grade point average.   She is a Dean's List student.
