ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Athletic Training

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Wesley Wilson will compete in his third season of football and his second season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He has earned two Certificates of Participation in football and one Certificate of Participation in track.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  Wesley enters his junior season looking to earn playing time on the varsity squad. The Yellow Jackets have compiled a 15-5 record in his first two seasons on the team.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Wesley competed in his first season of football and earned a Certificate of Participation. He played on the junior varsity squad and saw limited time on the varsity team while recording one tackle.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Wesley competed in his second season of football and earned his second Certificate of Participation.  He played on the junior varsity squad and saw limited time on the varsity team.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Wesley enters his sophomore season competing in sprints. He has helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 37-12-1 record in his time in the Brown and Gold.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Wesley did not compete in indoor track and field.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Wesley competed in his first season of indoor track and field and earned a Certificate of Participation.  In his only competition event of the season, Wesley ran the 200-meter dash in a season-best time of 24.26 seconds at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championship.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Wesley will look to compete in his second season of track and field and will look to earn his first varsity letter.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  Wesley enters his sophomore season competing in sprints and the long jump. He has helped BW compile a record of 32-4 in his time as a Yellow Jacket.

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Wesley did not compete in outdoor track and field.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Wesley competed in his first season of outdoor track and field. He finished his season-best 200-meter dash at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational with a time of 24.00 seconds.  Wesley also competed in the long jump, where he recorded a season-best distance of 20'10.75" at 2013 Sparky Adams Invitational.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Wesley will look to compete in his second season of track and field and will look to earn his first varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Wesley grew up in Uniontown, Ohio and graduated from Lake High School. Wesley ran four seasons of track and earned four varsity letters. He also played four seasons of football and earned three varsity letters.

In track, Wesley excelled in the long jump, as he was a Regional qualifier. During his senior year in football, Wesley was a Second-Team All-Federal League performer, honorable mention All-Stark County player, and was named to the Second-Team All-Northeast Inland District. He was also named the Lake Blue Streaks Best Defensive Back by his coaches. Statistically as a senior, Wesley recorded 85 tackles, six interceptions, three forced fumbles, three blocked field goals and two touchdowns.

Academically, Wesley carried a high grade point average throughout high school. He was also very involved in his community as he received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Uniontown YMCA for coaching youth basketball.
