BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Dusan Vasic is competing in his fourth season of outdoor track in the spring of 2015. He hopes to earn his fourth varsity letter in track. Dusan already owns four letters in cross country (2010-2013).
GENERAL CROSS COUNTRY INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Dusan competed in his first season of cross country. He recorded his best game at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet. He placed 34th individually and crossed the finish line in a time of 27:15.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Dusan competed in his second season of cross country, earning his second varsity letter. He finished 62nd in a time of 27:48.50 during the OAC Championship meet and ran one of his best races during the Calvin College Invitational with a mark of 27:06.30, finishing 85th overall.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Dusan competed in his third season of cross country and earned his third varsity letter. His fastest 8K race came at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble where he finished 90th out of 275 total runners in a time of 25:56.10. Dusan also competed at the season-ending Ohio Athletic Conference Championships where he crossed the finish line 29th out of 147 total runners with a mark of 26:50.8.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Dusan competed in his fourth season of cross country and earned his fourth varsity letter. Dusan competed in the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championships where he placed 63rd out of 143 runners with a time of 28:08.08. At the OAC Championship meet, Dusan finished 35th out of 140 runners with a time of 26:54.5. Dusan recorded a time of 27:30.9 at the Great Lakes Region Championship meet which placed him 129th out of 252 runners.
GENERAL INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Dusan competed in his first season of indoor track. He had season-bests of 9:30.92 in the 3000-meter run, 2:58.98 in the 1000-meter run and 4:57.89 in the one-mile run.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Dusan competed in his second season of indoor track. He posted personal-best times in the 800-meter run (2:09.98), 1000-meter run (2:45.98) and 1-mile run (4:42.01).
As a junior in 2012-2013, Dusan did not compete in indoor track.
As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Dusan competed in his third season of indoor track. He competed in middle and distance races. He had season-bests of 2:13.39 in the 800-meter run, 2:43.44 in the 1000 meters, 4:42.85 in the 1-mile run and 16:48.54 in the 5000 meters.
GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Dusan competed in his first season of outdoor track and earned his first varsity letter. He posted season-bests in the 1500-meter run (4:16.83), 5000-meter run (16:44.18) and 3000-meter steeplechase (10:08.80).
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Dusan competed in his second season of outdoor track and earned his second letter. He had career-bests in the 1500 meters (4:11.81), 3000-meter steeplechase (9:47.37) and a season-best i the 800-meter run (2:03.37).
As a junior in 2012-2013, Dusan did not compete in outdoor track.
As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Dusan competed in his third season of outdoor track and earned his third letter. He had career and team-bests in the 3000-meter steeplechase (9:59.53) and 400-meter hurdles (1:01.24) and a season-bests in the 1500 meters (4:12.58).
As a senior in 2014-2015, Dusan is competing in his fourth season of outdoor track and hopes to earn his fourth letter.
