ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Exercise Science

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Ryan Weir is competing in his fourth season of track at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer hopes to earn his third varsity letter.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a senior in 2014-2015, Ryan earned All-OAC honors as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team (second place).

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2011-2012, Ryan competed in his first season of indoor track. He posted season best times in the 200-meter dash (25.11 seconds) and the 500-meter run (1:14.34).

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Ryan competed in his second season of indoor track. He had a season-best in the 200-meter dash (23.52 seconds) and a career-best in the 400-meter dash (53.03 seconds).

As a junior in 2013-2014, Ryan did not compete indoors.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Ryan competed in his third season of indoor track. He had a career-best in the 200-meter dash (24.05 seconds) and a season-best in the 400-meter dash (53.82 seconds). He earned All-OAC honors as a member of the 4x200-meter relay team (second place).

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2011-2012, Ryan competed in his first season of outdoor track and field and received a certificate of participation. He had season-bests in the 100-meter dash (11.98 seconds), 200-meter dash (24.55 seconds) and 400-meter hurdles (1:00.70).

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Ryan competed in his second season of outdoor track and earned his first varsity letter. He had career-bests in the 200-meter dash (23.43 seconds), 400-meter dash (50.83 seconds) and 400-meter hurdles (58.12 seconds).

As a junior in 2013-2014, Ryan ran his third season of track and earned second letter. He had season-bests in the 100-meter dash (12.17 seconds), 200-meter dash (24.12 seconds), 400-meter dash (54.05 seconds) and 400-meter hurdles (1:01.29).

As a senior in 2014-2015, Ryan is competing in his fourth season of outdoor track and hopes to earn his third letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Ryan grew up in Lodi, Ohio and graduated from Cloverleaf High School. 

Ryan ran track for four seasons and earned four varsity letters. Ryan ran cross country for one season and earned one letter. He also played football for three seasons.

In track, Ryan was named team captain four consecutive seasons. He earned honorable mention All-Suburban League honors in the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relays. Ryan also recorded bests in the 200-meter dash (23.6 seconds) and 400-meter dash (52.6 seconds).
