AVON, Conn. -- Baldwin Wallace University senior attack Chad Steinwachs (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville North) and senior defender Brian Jandzinski (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster Central) have been named to the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Division III All-West Region honor.

Steinwachs garners his first IMCLA all-region accolade as he selected to the second-team and Jandzinski earns his second straight honorable mention selection.

Steinwachs, who was tabbed as an United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Warrior and New Balance honorable mention All-American earlier this season, led the Yellow Jackets, the OAC and all of NCAA Division III in assists with 77 and points with 118 while his 41 goals was third on the team. For his career, Steinwachs appeared in 65 games with 49 starts and recorded 132 goals, 151 assists, 283 points, 124 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers. His name is written on seven separate school records – single-game assists, single-game points, single-season assists, single-season points, career goals, career assists and career points. Steinwachs will also graduate sixth all-time in career ground balls.

Jandzinski had his best offensive season as a senior, notching career highs of two goals, three assists and five points. On the defensive side, Jandzinski finished third in the OAC with his team-leading 32 caused turnovers and added 49 ground balls, which was third on the squad. For his career, he appeared in 65 games with 64 starts and tallied three goals, three assists, six points, 147 ground balls and 93 caused turnovers. Jandzinski ranks among the program leaders in caused turnovers and ground balls as he will graduate second and fifth, respectively..

BW finished the 2019 season with a school-record tying 14 wins, setting additional school records for conference wins and road victories with eight apiece.
