AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Following his school-record performance, Baldwin Wallace University senior attack Blake Bower (Lewis Center/Olentangy) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

Bower earns his first weekly accolade after leading the Yellow Jackets to a 21-6 non-conference victory over St. Vincent (Pa.) College. His eight goals against the Bearcats broke the school single-game record while his 11 points also tied the school single-game record.

In just two games this season, Bower leads BW in scoring with 11 goals, 14 points and 20 shots and is second on the team with his three assists. For his career, he has appeared in 15 games with two starts and has recorded 19 goals, eight assists and 27 points on 37 shots.

The Yellow Jackets hit the road for the first time this season on Thursday, March 7, against Kenyon College at 3:30 p.m. on McBride Field.
