AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Senior attack Chad Steinwachs (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville North) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year to headline the Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse All-OAC selections.

Also landing on the first team with Steinwachs was senior defender Brian Jandzinski (Lancaster, N.Y./Central). Both junior midfielder Ben Kubiak (Wooster) and senior attack Mike Nanosky (Medina) were tabbed to the second team. Senior midfielder Thomas Moesch (Ithaca, N.Y.), sophomore midfielder Nicholas Nanosky (Medina) and sophomore defender Matthew Rodenhouse (Pittsford, N.Y./Mendon) each earned an honorable mention selection.

Steinwachs earns his fourth consecutive All-OAC selection, his third first-team honor and his first OAC Offensive Player of the Year award after a stellar senior campaign. He led the Yellow Jackets, the OAC and all of NCAA Division III in assists with 77 and points with 118 while his 41 goals was third on the team. For his career, Steinwachs appeared in 65 games with 49 starts and recorded 132 goals, 151 assists, 283 points, 124 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers. His name is written on seven separate school records – single-game assists, single-game points, single-season assists, single-season points, career goals, career assists and career points. Steinwachs will also graduate sixth all-time in career ground balls.

Repeating as a first-team selection and garnering his fourth career accolade is Jandzinski. He had his best offensive season as a senior, notching career highs of two goals, three assists and five points. On the defensive side, Jandzinski finished third in the OAC with his team-leading 32 caused turnovers and added 49 ground balls, which was third on the squad. For his career, he appeared in 65 games with 64 starts and tallied three goals, three assists, six points, 147 ground balls and 93 caused turnovers. Jandzinski ranks among the program leaders in caused turnovers and ground balls as he will graduate second and fifth, respectively.

Kubiak has been named to his second-straight All-OAC second team after being one of the conference's best scorers. He netted a career-high and single-season school-record 53 goals, dished out a career-best 20 assists and recorded a career-high 73 points. Kubiak tied for third in the OAC in goals and finished fourth in points. This season, he also became the fifth BW men's lacrosse player to amass 100 career points in the regular season finale on April 27 against Otterbein University. In his career, Kubiak has appeared in 47 games with 29 starts and has tallied 76 goals, 32 assists, 108 points, 71 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. The junior currently ranks fifth all-time in goals and points and sixth in assists.

Mike Nanosky earns his third consecutive All-OAC selection as he lands on the second team in back-to-back years. The senior tallied 25 goals, eight assists and 33 points in his final collegiate season to finish fourth on the team in both goals and points. He became just the fourth Yellow Jacket to tally 100 career points with his six-goal performance against Ohio Northern University on April 10. For his career, Mike Nanosky appeared in 48 games with 40 starts and recorded 80 goals, 30 assists, 110 points, 26 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. He finishes his career fourth all-time in goals and points and seventh in assists.

Moesch makes his first appearance on the All-OAC team after wrapping up his career in fine fashion. He added to the Yellow Jacket offense with career highs of 19 goals, six assists and 25 points. Defensively, his career-best 46 ground balls also put him fourth on the team. In his career, Moesch appeared in 62 games with 18 starts and tallied 33 goals, 10 assists, 43 points, 108 ground balls and 29 caused turnovers. He will leave Berea ranking eighth in career ground balls and tying for 12th in career goals.

Nicholas Nanosky also garners his first career All-OAC accolade after a solid sophomore season. He contributed in all facets of the offense, recording career highs of 18 goals, 13 assists and 31 points, while grabbing a career-best 21 ground balls and causing a career-high seven turnovers on the defensive end. Across his two-year career, Nicholas Nanosky has made 29 appearances with 16 starts and has tallied 23 goals, 18 assists, 41 points, 37 ground balls, 26 faceoff victories and 10 caused turnovers.

Rodenhouse earns his second consecutive All-OAC selection as he helped to solidify the BW back line. The sophomore tallied 10 ground balls and four caused turnovers in just nine games. In his career, Rodenhouse has made 24 appearances with 16 starts and has recorded 23 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers.

BW finished the 2019 season with a school-record tying 14 wins and an 8-1 mark in the OAC.
