BEREA, Ohio – After being named the 2019 D3baseball.com All-Mideast Pitcher of the Year, senior two-time All-OAC right-handed pitcher Danny Cody (Medina/ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) has been tabbed to the 2019 All-American fourth team.

A D3baseball.com All-Mideast first team selection, Cody earns this award after leading the OAC in wins (9), earned run average (1.89), and strikeouts (109). The righty has made 15 appearances with 13 starts and ended his senior season with a 9-1 record. In 85.2 innings pitched, Cody totaled a BW single-season record 109 strikeouts, which led to an 11.45 strikeouts per nine innings (K/9).

BW concluded its season with an overall record of 27-17 and an OAC mark of 14-4. The Yellow Jackets earned a co-share of the OAC regular season title and made their second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, before falling to Concordia University of Chicago (Ill.) in the Regional Championship game.
