Yellow Jackets Finish Weekend 2-2 at Salisbury (Md.) Seagull ClassicSeptember 18, 2011BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team split a pair of matches today (Saturday, September 18, 2010) at the Salisbury University Seagull Classic in Salisbury, Maryland. The Yellow Jackets, 11-5 overall following the split, finished the two-day tournament with a 2-2 record. For her efforts in the two-day event, sophomore Rachel Switalski (North Royalton/Holy Name) was named to the all-tournament team.

Union, 3-0, in OAC Tourney in AllianceNovember 02, 2010BEREA, OHIO -- The fifth-seeded Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team lost to Ohio Athletic Conference rival and fourth-seeded the University of Mount Union, 3-0, tonight (Tuesday, November 2, 2010) in the quarterfinals of the OAC Tournament. The scores of the match were 25-15, 25-18 and 25-10. The Yellow Jackets end their season at 20-13 overall.

Volleyball Team Defeats Muskingum University, 3-1, in BereaOctober 30, 2010BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team defeated Ohio Athletic Conference rival Muskingum University, 3-1, today (Saturday, October 30, 2010) in the Rudolph Ursprung Gymnasium of the Lou Higgins Center in Berea. The scores of the match were 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22. This was the final regular season match for each team. The 2010 OAC Tournament begins on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m.

Volleyball Team Beats Wilmington, 3-0, in WilmingtonOctober 23, 2010BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team defeated Ohio Athletic Conference rival Wilmington College, 3-0, today (Saturday, October 23, 2010) in an OAC dual match in the Fred Razik Arena in Wilmington, Ohio. The 25-18, 25-21 and 25-5 victory broke a three-match losing streak to improve to 18-12 overall and 3-4 in the OAC.

This was the OAC opener for B-W. The scores of the match were 25-16, 25-21 and 25-21. The victory was B-W's third straight.

The Yellow Jackets, 10-4 overall following the split, will play a pair of matches again tomorrow as they face No. 10-ranked Eastern (Pa.) University at 10:00 a.m. and then play in the playoff/consolation match at 12:00 noon.

The Yellow Jackets are now 7-2 overall and play a pair of matches tomorrow morning (Sept. 11) against Earlham (Ind.) College at 10:00 a.m. and Oberlin College at 1:00 p.m.

Volleyball Team Wins Kalamazoo (Mich.) TournamentSeptember 04, 2010BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College volleyball team swept a pair of matches today (Saturday, September 4, 2010) and won the Kalamazoo College Hornet Classic in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Yellow Jackets are now 4-2 overall and return home and be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 8 when they travel to Oberlin, Ohio to play Oberlin College in the Phillips Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. In addition, the four wins so far this season are just one win shy of last season's total wins.
