BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Krista Wharton competed in three seasons of track and field and one season of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University.

ACADEMIC HONORS: As a junior in 2012-2013, Krista earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. She is currently a member of the Dean's List and Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Krista competed in her first season of Indoor Track and Field. She had a career best in the 55-meter hurdles of 9.28 seconds and 8.29 seconds in the 55-meter dash.   

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Krista competed in her second season of indoor track.  She had bests of 31-feet in the weight throw and 29'10.75" in the shot put.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Krista competed in her third season of indoor track. She had a season and career-best throw in the 35-pound weight throw of 40'4.75" at the 2013 Greater Cleveland College Championships.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Krista  competed in her first season of outdoor track and field and earned her first varsity letter. She ran the 400-meter hurdles and had a personal best time of 1:13.51.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Krista competed in her second season of outdoor track and field and earned her second letter.  She had a season-best time of 1:14.08 in the 400 hurdles.  In the discus throw, Krista had a career-best of 106' 10" and a season-best of 114'0" in the hammer throw. Both occurred at the 2012 Sparky Adams Invitational.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Krista competed in her third season of outdoor track and field but left the team before the completion of the season. She had a career-best in the hammer throw of 124'4" at the OAC East Split Meet and a season-best toss in discus of 95'4" at the same meet. For her efforts in the classroom and on the track, Krista earned Academic All-OAC honors.
GENERAL VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2009-2010, Krista played her only season of volleyball. She played in two varsity matches and had one dig.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Krista Wharton grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Cincinnato Collerain High School.  She played four seasons of volleyball and earned two varsity letters. She also competed in track for four years and lettered all four years.

In volleyball as a senior in 2009-10, Krista earned the Cardinal Award.

In track as a junior, she was a member of the regional qualifying 4x400-meter relay team. In track as a senior, she was a regional qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles and was second in the district meet for the 100 meter hurdles.
