BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Krista Wharton competed in three seasons of track and field and one season of volleyball at Baldwin Wallace University.
ACADEMIC HONORS: As a junior in 2012-2013, Krista earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors. She is currently a member of the Dean's List and Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Krista competed in her first season of Indoor Track and Field. She had a career best in the 55-meter hurdles of 9.28 seconds and 8.29 seconds in the 55-meter dash.
GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-2011, Krista competed in her first season of outdoor track and field and earned her first varsity letter. She ran the 400-meter hurdles and had a personal best time of 1:13.51.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Krista Wharton grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Cincinnato Collerain High School. She played four seasons of volleyball and earned two varsity letters. She also competed in track for four years and lettered all four years.
In volleyball as a senior in 2009-10, Krista earned the Cardinal Award.
In track as a junior, she was a member of the regional qualifying 4x400-meter relay team. In track as a senior, she was a regional qualifier in the 100-meter hurdles and was second in the district meet for the 100 meter hurdles.
