Women's Tennis Falls to John Carroll in First Home Match

BEREA, Ohio – In the Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team first home match, the squad fell to reigning Ohio Athletic Conference champions John Carroll University, 9-0 at the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.

The duo of junior Becca Liebler (Medina) and sophomore Emma Hubbard (Ortonville, Mich./Brandon High School) put up a score of 8-3 in the most competitive doubles match.

In singles, sophomore Ashtyn Morris (Salem) had the most success as she put pressure on the Blue Streak with scores of 6-4 and 6-3.

The Yellow Jackets will hit the courts next on Wednesday, April 10 for a conference match against Ohio Northern University at 3:30 p.m.
