Jason Zastrow enters his sixth year at Baldwin Wallace University in 2022-23.  Zastrow begins his second season as as the associate head wrestling coach and his first year as the compliance officer.  He served as the assistant wrestling coach for four seasons before being elevated to associate head coach in 2021.

In his five seasons in Berea, Zastrow has help guide the Yellow Jackets to an overall record of 63-10 and a 30-2 dual match record in the Ohio Athletic Conference and has been ranked in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) top-10 rankings all five years. He has been named to the OAC Wrestling Coaching Staff of the Year on four occasions, the NCAA Division III Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year on two occasions and the 2018 NCAA Division III Assistant Coach of the Year.

Zastrow came to BW after serving as the head wrestling coach at the University of the Ozarks (Ark.) for two seasons.  He also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Wartburg (Iowa) University for three seasons and Central (Iowa) College.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history from Wartburg in 2007 and Master of Science in college athletic administration from Coker (S.C.) College in 2015.  As a collegiate wrestler at Wartburg, Zastrow was an NCAA Division III National Qualifier his senior year and his teams won four straight Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and finished either as NCAA national champions or national runners-up all four years.
