Jason Zastrow enters his eighth overall year at Baldwin Wallace University in 2024-25.  Zastrow begins his fourth season as the associate head wrestling coach and his third year as the compliance officer.  He served as the assistant wrestling coach for four seasons before being elevated to associate head coach in 2021.

Zastrow has been named to the OAC Wrestling Coaching Staff of the Year on five occasions, the NCAA Division III Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year on two occasions and the 2018 NCAA Division III Assistant Coach of the Year.

He came to BW after serving as the head wrestling coach at the University of the Ozarks (Ark.) for two seasons.  He also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Wartburg (Iowa) University for three seasons and Central (Iowa) College.

Zastrow earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history from Wartburg in 2007 and Master of Science in college athletic administration from Coker (S.C.) College in 2015.  As a collegiate wrestler at Wartburg, He was an NCAA Division III National Qualifier his senior year and his teams won four straight Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and finished either as NCAA national champions or national runners-up all four years.

Zastrow and his wife, Jenny, reside in Pepper Pike.
