ACADEMIC MAJOR:    Accounting (3:2 MBA in Accounting Program)

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Aric Cross competed in his third season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection. 

ACADEMIC HONORS: Aric carries a 3.593 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. He also is a member of the Alpha Lambda Honor Society.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014 and as a junior in 2014-2015, Aric earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors and was named a Jacket Scholar.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Aric competed in his first season of wrestling and received a medical red-shirt due to an injury. He had a 1-4 record in the 133-pound weight class with two takedowns, three escapes, one reversal and one near fall before an injury ended his season. BW finished 4-4 overall.

As a red-shirt freshman in 2013-2014, Aric competed in his first official season of wrestling. He received a certificate of participation. Aric competed at 141 pounds and had a 4-12 record with a takedown and a near fall. Aric earned Academic All-OAC honors. BW finished 8-3 overall.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Aric competed in his third season of wrestling. He earned Academic All-OAC honors for the second straight year. Individually, Eric had a 2-11 record with one pin. He also had two takedowns, three escapes and one reversal. BW had a school-record 17 victories, a 17-6 overall record, including a 4-1 slate in OAC dual matches, won the John Summa Memorial Tournament, placed sixth at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional and 20th at the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.

OTHER CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:   Aric is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Aric Cross grew up in Geneva, Ohio and graduated from Geneva High School.

Aric competed in four years of wrestling and earned three varsity letters.  

Academically, Aric was named a Scholar-Athlete in wrestling all four years and graduated in the top 10 percent of his graduating class.
