BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Lane Louive competed in his second season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. He received a certificate of participation for his efforts.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Lane competed in his first season of wrestling.  Lane had his season cut short due to injury. However, before his injury, Lane had an overall record of 17-4, with 18 takedowns and 27 escapes, two reversals and 30 near falls, including a team-leading 27 three-point near falls.  He also had four pins and five technical falls.  He could receive a medical red-shirt due to his injury.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Lane competed in his second season of wrestling and received a certificate of participation for his efforts. He competed for mat time at 197 pounds. Lane had a 8-3 overall record with four pins. He totaled 11 takedowns, seven escapes and 10 total near falls. BW finished 8-3 overall and 22nd at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Lane grew up in Massillon, Ohio and graduated from Washington High School.  He participated in wrestling, cross country, and track and field.  He earned four varsity letters in each sport.

In wrestling, Lane was a team captain for four years and was an All-Stark County performer all four years.  He was a two-year OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) Sectional Champion and two-time OHSAA State Qualifier. During his career, Lane had more than 100 wins.  

In cross country, Lane was a team captain for four years.  He was an honorable mention for All-Stark County three times. 

In track, Lane was a team captain for three years.
