BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Ben LeBrun competed in his second season of wrestling at Baldiwn Wallace University in 2013-2014. Highlighting his season was being named to the NCWA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) Scholar All-America team.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS:  Ben carries a 3.773 grade points average, was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference and to the  NCWA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) Scholar All-America team. He was also named a Jacket Scholar in 2013-2014.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Ben competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter. He was the starting 174-pounder and compiled an overall record of 17-19. Ben totaled three pins, 51 takedowns and 55 escapes. He also had eight reversals and five total near falls. BW finished 4-4 overall.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Ben competed in his second season of wrestling and earned his second letter.  Ben was the starting 174-pounder for the second straight season and compiled a 26-12 record with five pins. He had 58 takedowns, 35 escapes, three reversals and three near falls. He earned Academic All-OAC honors and was a NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) Scholar All-American. BW finished 8-3 overall and 22nd at the 2014 NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a junior in 2014-2015, Ben will return for his third season of wrestling. He will be relied upon as a veteran team leader.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Ben LeBrun grew up in Strongsville, Ohio and graduated from Strongsville High School. Ben competed four years of wrestling and earned four letters. He also played two seasons of football.  He earned All-Northeast Ohio Conference honors in wrestling.

FAMILY CONNECTION:  Ben's father, Dave LeBrun, is a former Yellow Jacket assistant wrestling coach.
