ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Business/ Finance

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Addison Carbone played his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014 and earned his second letter.  This winter, he also competed in his second season of wrestling. He earned a certificate of participation for his efforts.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  As a junior in football in 2013-2014, Addison was a starting defensive tackle and selected as a first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 and as an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete.  He is a Dean's List student, a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is a Jacket Scholar.

GENERAL FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, Addison played his first season of football and earned a certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams as a defensive tackle. He saw action in two varsity games and recorded three tackles including one tackle for a loss.  BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Addison played his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter.  He alternated as the starter at DT and appeared in all 10 games. He had recorded 26 total tackles, including 1.5 quarterback sacks for minus 11 yards. BW finished 8-2 overall and was ranked 24th in the final AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) Division III national poll.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Addison began his third season of football, but was injured, was lost for the season after just one game. He received a medical red-shirt. He started at DT in a 45-13 season-opening win versus Bluffton University in Berea. Addison had five tackles and combined on a QB sack.  BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Addison played his third season of football and earned his second varsity letter. He started at DT and had 33 tackles, including four for loss and one quarterback sack. For his efforts both on the field and in the classroom, he was selected first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 choice as well as an Academic All-OAC student-athlete. BW finished 6-4 overall.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, Addison did not compete in wrestling.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Addison competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter. He was the starting 285-pounder and showed improvement in each match despite compiling a 1-10 record. Addison recorded two takedowns and nine escapes in those 11 matches.

He did not compete in wrestling in 2012-2013.

As a red-shirt junior in 2013-2014, Addison competed in his second season of wrestling and earned a certificate of participation. He compiled a 2-4 record but primarily joined the team to be a workout partner for 285-pounder Joe Belford.

INVOLVED AT CAMPUS RADIO STATION WBWC, 88.3 FM:   Addison is a student broadcaster on campus radio station WBWC, 88.3 FM. While he missed his junior season of 2012-2013 with an injury, he served as the color analyst for Yellow Jacket football games.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Addison grew up in Hudson, Ohio and attended Hudson High School.  He played four years of football and earned two varsity letters. Addison also competed in three years of track and wrestling and earned three varsity letters in each.

As a senior in football, Addison helped Hudson to an 8-2 record. Individually, he earned All-Northeast Ohio Conference honors.  In wrestling, Addison compiled a 29-12 record, was a two-time Ray "Buck" Hyser Leadership Award winner, a two-time District qualifier and named All-NOC.

Academically, Addison was a eight-time NOC All-Academic Team member, a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the Honor Roll.
