DYER, Ind. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's bowling team finished in 14th place at the three-day Valparaiso University Bowling Classic at Stardust Bowl III.
BW was 14th of 17 teams with 8,934 total pins. NCAA Division II Maryville (Mo.) University was the champion with 11,733 pins.
- Junior Julia Parso (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) placed 43rd of 113 bowlers with 800 total pins for an average of 160
- Junior Erin Yates (Wellington/Keystone) was 44th with 794 pins for an average of 158.8
- Freshman Abby Schuerger (Avon Lake) finished 51st with 695 pins for an average of 139
- Senior Kayla Yeager (Mont Alto, Pa./Waynesboro Area) came in 60th with 630 pins for an average of 126
- Senior Ashley Workman (North Royalton) tallied 523 pins for an average of 104.6
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, November 18 when they travel to Columbus to compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament #3 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace.
