Women’s Bowling Finishes 18th at Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament #1

COLUMBUS, Ohio – In its inaugural tournament, the Baldwin Wallace University women's bowling team finished 18th at the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament #1 at the Columbus Square Bowling Lanes

BW was 18th of 19 teams with 4117 total pins.  Muskingum University was the champion with 6,658 pins.

  • Junior Julia Parso (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) finished 36th of 157 bowlers with 772 pins for an average of 154.4
  • Junior Erin Yates (Wellington/Keystone) placed 47 with 700 pins for an average of 140
  • Freshman Abby Schuerger (Avon Lake) took 57 with 648 pins for an average of 129.6
  • Senior Alex Armbruster (North Royalton) recorded 476 pins for an average of 95.2
  • Senior Ashley Workman (North Royalton) tallied 237 pins for an average of 59.3
  • Senior Kayla Yeager (Mont Alto, Pa./Waynesboro Area) had 77 pins in one game 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, October 21 when they travel to Columbus to compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament #2.
