Women’s Bowling Places 12th at Daemen (N.Y.) Storm Fall Classic

LOCKPORT, N.Y. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's bowling team finished in 12th place at the two-day Daemen (N.Y.) University Storm Fall Classic at Brad Angelo Lanes.

BW was 12th of 12 teams with 6,727 total pins. NCAA Division II Daemen University was the champion with 9,057 pins. 

  • Junior Erin Yates (Wellington/Keystone) placed 21st of 76 bowlers with 823 pins for an average of 164.6
  • Junior Julia Parso (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) was 23rd with 808 total pins for an average of 161.6
  • Freshman Abby Schuerger (Avon Lake) finished 35th with 710 pins for an average of 142
  • Senior Kayla Yeager (Mont Alto, Pa./Waynesboro Area) had 587 pins for an average of 117.4
  • Senior Ashley Workman (North Royalton) tallied 483 pins for an average of 96.6

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 18 when they travel to Columbus to compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament #3 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace.
