Women’s Bowling Places Seventh at Br. Pat Lacey Memorial Tournament

LATROBE, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's bowling team placed seventh at the Br. Pat Lacey Memorial Tournament at the Lincoln Lanes, hosted by Saint Vincent (Pa.) College.

BW was seventh of eight teams with 3,788 total pins. Saint Vincent (Pa.) College was the champion with 4,449 total pins. 

  • Junior Erin Yates (Wellington/Keystone) was fourth with 950 pins for an average of 190
  • Junior Julia Parso (Brook Park/Berea-Midpark) placed 12th with 854 pins for an average of 170.8
  • Freshman Abby Schuerger (Avon Lake) had 710 pins for an average of 142
  • Senior Alex Armbruster (North Royalton) had 641 pins for an average of 128.2
  • Senior Ashley Workman (North Royalton) had 633 pins for an average of 126.6

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 17 for their season finale as they travel to Columbus to compete in the Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament #5 at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace.
