OBERLIN, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College men's cross country team placed 16th today (Saturday, October 15, 2011) at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Meet hosted by Oberlin College.  This was the sixth and final regular season meet for the Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jacket men were led by, junior Kenny Janosko (Mentor) who finished 6th individually as he covered the 8K course in 25:49.2 overall. He was followed by senior Thomas Wilkin (Powell/ Olentangy Liberty), who crossed the finish line in a time of 27:23.1 as he placed 85th, sophomore Dusan Vasic (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights) placed 104th in 27:35.9,  junior David Gerding (Strongsville) finished 111th in 27:38.6, freshman Greg Blevins (Mentor)  finished 139th in 27:57.4, sophomore Stephen Humbert (Middletown/ Lakota East) placed 148th in 28:02.8, senior Nick Jeffers (South Amherst/ Firelands) finished 150th in 28:04.6, senior Drew Beck (Canandaigua, N.Y./ Canandaigua Academy) placed 167th in 28:14.4, and freshman Issac Baker (Lithia, Fla./Newsome) finished in 236th in 29:10.4. 

In the open meet, B-W was led by senior Michael Sisko (Olmsted Falls) as he placed 66th in a time of 29:40.7. Following Sisko was senior Brian Gibbons (Rocky River) who finished in 68th at 29:44.1, senior Justin Brown (Sandusky) finished 116th in 31:18.2 and junior Ryan Fallow (Medina) finished in 119th in 31:27.9.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action in two weeks when they travel to Ada, Ohio where they will compete at the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet at 11:00 a.m.
