BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace men's volleyball team has announced the release of their 2023 schedule. Under the direction of Head Coach Kyle Mars, the BW will begin its third season as a program.
After going 8-18 overall a season ago, The Yellow Jackets open the season at home on January 19 against non-conference opponent Hiram College.
On January 21 and 22, BW hosts non-conference opponents Marian (Wis.) University, Hilbert (N.Y.) College, St. Norbert (Wis.) College, and Loras (Iowa) College. The Yellow Jackets will then travel to Hiram on January 25 to take on the Terriers for a second time, this time inside Price Gymnasium.
On January 27 and 28, the Yellow Jackets travel to Dallas, Pennsylvania as it faces
Medaille (N.Y.) University, Randolph-Macon (Va.) College, Emmanuel (Mass.) College, and Nazareth (N.Y.) College in the Misericordia (Pa.) University Cougar Classic.
BW opens the second month of the season as it travels to Greenville, Pennsylvania on February 2 for a non-conference match against Thiel (Pa.) College.
The Yellow Jackets return home for its next five matches against Concordia University Chicago (Ill.) and Medaille on February 4, NAIA Carlow (Pa.) University on February 9, and Lancaster Bible (Pa.) College and Geneva (Pa.) College on February 18.
BW closes out the month of February as it travels to Erie, Pennsylvania for a pair of non-conference matches against Penn State University at Altoona and Penn State Behrend on February 25.
As the calendar flips to March, the Yellow Jackets open Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League action with a pair of road matches at Adrian (Mich.) College on March 3 and Olivet (Mich.) College on March 4.
During their annual spring break trip, the Yellow Jackets travel to the Land of Lincoln for matches against Concordia Chicago and Augustana (Ill.) College on March 8, Lakeland (Ill.) University and Aurora (Ill.) University on March 10 and Wisconsin Lutheran University, and Illinois Institute of Technology on March 11.
BW returns to conference play as it hosts Mount St. Joseph University on March 17 and Wittenberg University on March 18 and the University of Mount Union on March 25.
The Yellow Jackets close out the regular season with MCVL road matches against Fontbonne (Mo.) University on April 1 and Wabash (Ind.) University on April 2 and a home league match against Trine (Ind.) University on April 6.
