BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  As a senior in 2011-12, Promis played his fourth season of basketball and earned his fourth varsity letter. He served as a team captain.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION: Promis had a solid basketball career during his four years at Baldwin-Wallace. B-W has recorded a 47-45 record during his four seasons as a Yellow Jacket. He appeared in 97 games and had averaged 7.4 points per game and has grabbed 2.1 rebounds per game. Promis finished with a career total of 719 points, 314 assists, 134 steals, and 27 blocks. His 314 assists ranks fifth all-time and his 134 steals are ninth all-time.

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Promis played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter. Promis saw significant time as he played in all 25 varsity games, including starting 19 contests at the point guard position for the 8-17 overall Yellow Jackets. Promis averaged 4.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. He led the team with 31 steals and was second with 49 assists. Promis scored a season-high 12 points.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Promis played his second season of basketball and earned his second letter. He was the starting point guard and averaged 11.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game as B-W finished 14-12 overall. He scored a career-best 20 points in B-W's 88-76 victory over Geneva (Pa.) College on November 23, 2009. Promis led the team and Ohio Athletic Conference with 123 assists.  For his efforts, he was named as an honorable mention All-OAC player.

As a junior in 2010-2011, Promis played his third season of basketball earning his third varsity letter.  He was the starting point guard and he averaged 9.4 points per game while shooting 66-166 from the field. He earned a large amount of his points from the free throw line, where he made 102 out of 117 attempted free throws. Promis also had 52 rebounds, 86 assists, 8 blocks, and 32 steals to go with his impressive point totals. B-W finished 9-16 overall.

As a senior in 2011-12, Promis played his fourth season of basketball earning his fourth varsity letter. He started at point guard for the first 21 games until he had a season ending injury in a victory against Muskingum University in Berea. In 21 games, the team co-captain averaged 3.6 points per game, grabbed 1.8 rpg. with 56 assists and 25 steals. B-W fnished 16-10 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): As a junior in 2006-2007, Promis was named to the All-Tournament team for the Holiday Classic and was tabbed "Mr. Basketball" for Lorain County.  As a senior in 2007-2008, Promis was an All-Northeast Ohio Conference selection and played in the North-South All-Star Game. Promis was a member of the Merit Roll.
