BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  As a junior in 2011-12, Chris competed in his third season of basketball for the Yellow Jackets. He has earned three varsity letters.

ACADEMIC HONORS: As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Chris was awarded the Jacket Scholar for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. As a junior in 2011-2012, Chris was a Chi Alpha Sigma inductee.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION: Chris is off to a solid basketball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 39-38 record during his first three seasons as a Yellow Jacket. He has appeared in 73 games and has averaged 8.8 points per game and has grabbed 5.2 rebounds per game. Chris has a career total of 645 points, 22 assists, 32 steals, and 37 blocks.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Chris played his first season of basketball and earned his first varsity letter. He played in all 26 games and started 22. Chris scored 9.8 ppg. to rank fourth, led the team in rebounding with 5.7 rpg. and shot 52.7 percent from the floor on 99-of-188 attempts.  He also had 13 assists, 13 blocked shots and 20 steals.  Chris scored a career-high 25 points against Indiana East University in a 96-87 overtime win in the first round of the Thomas More (Ky.) Tournament.  B-W went on to win the tourney title.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Chris played his second season of basketball as a starter at forward for the Yellow Jackets. He earned his second varsity letter of his career. He played in 21 games this season, averaging 9.9 points per game giving him a total of 208 points on the season. He shot the ball at 47.7 percent from the field on 72-151 field goals. To go along with his impressive point totals, Chris recorded an average of 5.9 rebounds per game with a total of 124 on the season. Chris recorded 14 blocks, five assists, and five steals for the season. He recorded a career high of 14 rebounds on December 1, 2010, against Heidelberg.

As a junior in 2011-12, Chris competed in his third season of basketball for the Yellow Jackets.  He appeared in 26 games for B-W.  Chris had a different role than last season, playing from the bench this season.  He was fifth on the team in scoring at 7.0 points per game, 61-151 from the field for .404 percent.  Chris grabbed 110 rebounds, 4.2 rebounds per game, and led the team in rebounds in five games.  Chris also contributed ten blocks, seven steals and four assists.  Chris scored a season-high of 17 points at Heidelberg in a 90-69 win on December 7, 2011. Chris earned All-OAC academic honors for the 2011-12 season.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): As a senior in 2008-2009, Chris was honorable mention All-District, a team captain and team Co-Most Valuable Player.  That season, he averaged 14.7 ppg. and 7.5 rpg., shot 52% from the field and 76% from the free throw line. He also received First Honors and Second Honors in the classroom.
