Kayla Caruso enters her first season as the head athletic trainer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2023-24.
Caruso, who is a member of the University Hospitals (UH) Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute, will serve as the athletic trainer for football men’s and women’s cross country, and women’s basketball.
She comes to BW after serving as an athletic trainer at Oberlin College for the last five years. While at Oberlin, she was the athletic trainer for the field hockey, men’s tennis, women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, and women’s volleyball teams.
Caruso earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and teaching from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in athletic training from The College of St. Scholastica (Minn.).
She is a member of National Athletic Trainers Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association and Ohio Athletic Trainers Association.
