Visiting Team Information

The Athletic Training Staff at the Baldwin Wallace University, we would like to welcome you to Berea during your season.

The following information will hopefully help you prepare for you upcoming visit.
Your competition could take place in a variety of destinations on campus, please refer to the proper sport and you will find the appropriate information for your trip.
 

Football, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Lacrosse, Outdoor Track & Field

The competition will be taking place in George Finnie Stadium.  If your team requires any pre-competition treatment, etc. please contact a member of the staff to make necessary arrangements. The Stadium athletic training room will be open prior to the competition and also after the conclusion of the event.

The following will be made available for your use from the Athletic Training Room:

  • Hydrocullator                                                      
  • Electric Stimulation
  • Ice bags                                                
  • Ultrasound
During completion the following will be available for your use:                                   
  • Water                                                               
  •  Ice bags/Cups
  • Biohazard materials                                              
  • Emergency equipment


Volleyball, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Wrestling,

The competition will be taking place in Urspurng Gymnasium.  The Ursprung athletic training room will be open prior to the competition and also after the conclusion of the event. 
The following will be made available for your use from the Athletic Training Room:
  • Hydrocullator                                                      
  • Electric Stimulation
  • Ice bags                                                
  • Ultrasound
During completion the following will be available for your use:                                   
  • Water                                                                
  • Ice bags/Cups
  • Biohazard materials                                             
  • Emergency equipment


Baseball, Softball, Tennis

The competition will be taking place at the appropriate field or court.  These facilities do not have an athletic training room, if your team requires any pre-game treatment, etc. please contact us to make necessary arrangements.  
During completion the following will be available for your use:                                   
  • Water                                                               
  • Ice bags/Cups
  • Biohazard materials                                              
  • Emergency equipment


Swimming & Diving, Indoor Track & Field

The competition will be taking place near the Lou Higgins Athletic Training Room.  The Higgins athletic training room will be open prior to the competition and also after the conclusion of the event.   

The following will be made available for your use from the Athletic Training Room:
  • Hydrocullator                                                      
  • Electric Stimulation
  • Ice bags                                                
  • Ultrasound
During completion the following will be available for your use:                                   
  • Water                                                               
  • Ice bags/Cups
  • Biohazard materials                                              
  • Emergency equipment


Additional Information/Notes

  • A physician will be present or on-call for all events.
  • In the instance that you team will not be traveling without a certified athletic trainer, please contact us in advance with a list of all the necessary treatments.
