Murphy Earns Third Career OAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Accolade

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) has been named the OAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the third time in her illustrious career.

Murphy earns her third weekly honor after winning the 800-meter run at the Al Campbell Invitational hosted by NCAA Division I University of Akron.

She broke her own BW record after winning the 800-meter in a time of 2:10.02.

This season, Murphy ranks second nationally in the 800-meter with her record-setting time.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23 and 24 when they travel to Muskingum University for the 2024 OAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.
