TIFFIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Tiffin Track Carnival, co-hosted by Tiffin University and Heidelberg University.

BW placed 13th out of 19 participating teams with eight points. NCAA Division II Ashland University won the meet with 90 points.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Freshman Abbie George (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria) placed second in the 1500-meter run in a time of 5:00.01
• Freshman Rylee Barno (Columbus / Bexley) finished sixth in the 5000-meter run in a time of 18:11.08
• Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference sprinter Abby Collier (Dublin / Coffman) placed 10th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.32

Field events highlights:

• Freshman All-OAC shot putter Amyah Chosa (Jemez Pueblo, N.M. / Jemez Valley) placed second in the shot put with a mark of 12.80 meters
• Freshman Rylee Gorrell (Grove City, Pa. / Grove City Area) finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.61 meters
• Junior Karah Boesel (Nova / Mapleton) placed eighth in the javelin throw with a mark of 25.37 meters

On the relay side:

• BW finished fourth in the 4x100 meter relay in a time of 49.90

BW returns to action on Friday, April 19 for the Jesse Owens Classic, hosted by NCAA Division I Ohio State University.
