ASHLAND, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the 14th Ashland Alumni Open, hosted by NCAA Division ll Ashland University. The meet was unscored.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Junior Maura Devine (Baden, Pa. / Ambridge Area) finished 17th in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:32.33.

Field events highlights:

• Freshman All-Ohio Athletic Conference shot putter Amyah Chosa (Jemez Pueblo, N.M. / Jemez Valley) placed third in the shot put with a mark of 13.45 meters.
• Freshman Rylee Gorrell (Grove City, Pa. / Grove City Area) finished third in the high jump with a distance of 1.57 meters.
• Junior Lilly Johns (Garrettsville / James A. Garfield) placed 16th in the hammer throw with a mark of 41.92 meters.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Thursday, May 2 for day one of the OAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Heidelberg University.
