Women's Cross Country Team Takes 18th at Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished 18th at the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College on the Oberlin College Cross Country Course.

The Yellow Jackets placed 18 of 29 teams with 569 points  

Freshman Kelly Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) led the Yellow Jacket women as she placed eighth of 244 runners in a time of 21:41.7.

In addition, freshman Hannah Fredriksen (Hamburg, N.Y.) finished 101st with a time of 23:20.4. Sophomore Maeve Christie (Lakewood) placed 109th with a time of 23:29.3.  Junior Alivia Stephan (Carey) was 214th with a time of 26:30.9 and sophomore Bailee D'Amore (McDonald) finished 242nd with a time of 28:44.5

BW is back in action on Saturday, October 31 when it hosts the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships at Wallace Lake in the Mill Stream Run Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks at 11 a.m.
