OBERLIN, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College women's cross country team placed seventh today (Saturday, November 12, 2011) at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Meet at Oberlin College.
The B-W women scored 312 points and placed seventh of 36 total teams.
The women were led by junior Sarah Rospert (Milan/ Edison) as she placed 34th of 251 total runners to earn All-Great Lakes Region honors (Top-35). She completed the 6K course in 22:37.52. She was followed by junior Shaina Kovatch (Parma/ Valley Forge) who placed 47th in 22:53.84, junior Lauren McGaughey (Allison Park, Pa./ Hampton) placed 73rd in 23:23.15, junior Tess Hoogeveen (Westerville/ South) was 75th in 23:24.66, sophomore Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) was 88th in 23:41.09, sophomore Jamie Clapacs (Willoughby Hills/ South) was 106th in 24:03.69 and sophomore Lauren Hutka (North Ridgeville/ Grafton Midview) in 152nd in 24:52.44.
The national championship meet at Wisconsin Oshkosh begins at 11:00 a.m. CST.
