KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender Kelly Gough (Hudson) and sophomore All-OAC forward Rachel Bender (Massillon/Jackson) of the Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team have earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) postseason honors.
Gough, who earns her first All-America selection and her third All-Great Lakes Region honor, was a third-team All-America selection and was tabbed as a first-team all-region honoree. She was named to the All-Great Lakes second-team in 2015 and to the third-team in 2014. Gough was also honored by the OAC as its Defender of the Year and as a first-team all-conference selection. She is a two-time OAC Defender of the Year honoree and a three-time first-team All-OAC selection. This season, Gough led the BW defenders with four goals for eight points. In her career, Gough appeared in a school-record tying 84 games, scored 17 goals and added four assists for 38 points.

Bender was also named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 7 team. She led the conference during the regular season with a career-high 48 points and was second in the league during the regular season with career-bests in goals (19) and assists (9). In two seasons, Bender has played in 44 games and has tallied 30 goals, 13 assists and 73 points.
