SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a freshman in 2011-12, Sam competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter.
GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: Sam is off to a solid wrestling career thus far. B-W recorded a 1-6 record during his first season as a Yellow Jacket. He appeared in 30 matches for an overall record of 17-13 in the 149 lb. weight class. In his first season he recorded 24 takedowns, 13 reversals, and 14 escapes.

He finished with a 17-13 overall record for the season for a 56.7 percent average. Sam finished sixth in the 26th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament.
