GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: Joe is off to a solid wrestling career thus far. B-W  recorded a 16-28 record during his first three seasons as a Yellow Jacket. He has appeared in 69 matches for an overall record of 37-32 in three different weight classes. Throughout his career Joe has recorded 77 takedowns, 57 escapes, and seven reversals.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Joe competed in his first season of wrestling.  He competed in ten matches at 165-pound weight class posting a record of 2-8 while recording seven takedowns.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Joe  competed in his second season of wrestling where he earned the starting position at the 184-pound weight class. He recorded a winning record of 22-12 at 184-pounds and a 3-2 record at 197-pounds. He set career highs  in every statistical category. Joe totals between the two weight classes are: 51 takedowns, 30 escapes, four reversals, five nearfalls, inlcuding two nearfall two's, and three nearfall three's, and a winning percentage of .594. Joe placed second at 184 pounds at both the RIT Invitational and John Summa Invitational Tournament, and placed fifth at the Waynesburg University Invitational. He helped lead B-W to there first winning season in since the 2006-07 season. The Yellow Jackets posted a 10-9 dual meet record, including a 4-2 mark in OAC matches.

As a junior in 2011-12, Joe competed in his third season of wrestling. He wrestled in both the 184 lbs and 197 lbs. weight class. In the 184 lbs. weight class, he compiled four takedowns, seven escapes and one reversal, which resulted in one N2, and one N3.  He posted a 3-2 overall record in this weight class. In the 197 lbs. weight class, Joe compiled 15 takedowns and 16 escapes. He finished with a 7-8 overall record in this weight class.
