BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Brooke Hamilton played four seasons of women's golf at Baldwin Wallace University and earned four varsity letters. She was one of the best women's golfing student-athletes to ever grace the campus.  She was named as a 2012 CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American and was honored at the 2012 NCAA Division III National Tournament as an "Elite 89" Award finalist.

ACADEMIC HONORS AT BW:  Brooke carries an outstanding 3.94 grade point average. She is a member of the Dean's List, Alpha Lambda and Chi Alpha Sigma honor societies and is a Jacket Scholar. As a junior in 2011-12, Brooke was honored at the 2011-12 and 2012-2013 Student-Athlete & Faculty Recognition Luncheon for having the Highest Grade Point Average on the women's golf team (3.94).  As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Brooke was awarded the Dr. Neille & Jeanne Shoemaker English Scholarship as well as the Lillian and Larry D. Bibbee Scholarship.  At the 2011-12 Honors Day Awards Ceremony, she was awarded the Robert Howells Memorial English Scholarship, the A.B. & Georgianna Bonds Scholarship, and the John F. and Ida E. Gibler Scholarship.

ATHLETIC HONORS:   Brooke Hamilton was a three-time All-OAC player (2011, 2012, 2013). She also earned OAC Player of the Week honors as a senior in 2013.

GENERAL GOLF INFORMATION:    Brooke Hamilton was one of the finest women's golfers to ever compete at Baldwin Wallace University. The 2012 CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to OAC titles in 2011 and 2012 and a spot in the NCAA Division III National Tournament each season.  During her four seasons, she helped BW to compile a 225-117-2 overall record and 14 tournament titles.

Individually, Brooke played in 42 tournaments and 74.5 rounds of 18 holes and averaged 87.57 strokes per round, including a career-low 78 which she set during the fall of 2012 at the Capital-Otterbein Invitational and matched in the spring of 2013 in the first round of the George Fox (Ore.)/ Phoenix Open during the annual spring break trip.

As a freshman in 2009-2010, Brooke played her first season of golf and earned her first varsity letter.  In the fall of 2009, she competed in five tournaments and averaged a team-best 91.56 strokes per 18-hole round. She shot a season-best 85 in the first round of the BW Yellow Jacket Invitational. In the spring of 2010, Brooke competed in five tournaments and averaged 96.56 strokes per round. Her best round was an 89 on the second day of the OAC Tournament. She tied for 17th individually.

As a sophomore in 2010-2011, Brooke played in her second season of golf and earned her second letter.  In the fall of 2010, Brooke played in six tournaments and 10 rounds.  She averaged 86.4 strokes per round and shot her season-best of 80 strokes on the first day of the Mercyhurst (Pa.) University Tournament. During the 2011 spring season, Brooke helped B-W win the University of Mt. Union Spring Invitational. She played in six tournaments and 12 rounds and averaged 88.17 strokes per round. She shot her best round during the second round of the OAC Tournament when she carded an 80. Individually, Brooke earned All-OAC honors.  She also was Academic All-OAC and CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District IV. The Yellow Jackets compiled a 83-18 combined fall and spring record and won invitational tournaments at Grove City (Pa.) College, Capital University and the OAC Tournament. B-W qualified for the NCAA Division III National Tournament and placed 15th. 

As a junior in 2011-2012, Brooke competed in her third season of golf and earned her third letter.  In the 2011 fall season, Brooke played in five tournaments and eight rounds and averaged 86.63 strokes per round.  She had a season-low 79 at the Wittenburg University Invatational.  In the spring of 2012, Brooke competed in seven tournaments and 14 rounds and averaged 85.71 strokes per round. She carded her best round with a score of 79 three separate times. Individually, Brooke placed xxxxxth at the OAC Tournament to earn All-OAC honors.  She also was named Academic All-OAC, as a CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District 7 player and as a CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American. She also earned Academic All-American Scholar honors from the National Golf Coaches Association. The Yellow Jackets finished the season with a 59-42-1 record, won a second straight OAC title and placed 16th at the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.  

As a senior in 2012-2013, Brooke played her fourth season of golf and earned her fourth letter.  In the fall of 2012, she played in four tournaments and eight rounds and averaged 83.13 strokes per round with a career-low round of 78 at the Otterbein University-Capital University Classic. In the spring of 2013, Brooke played in five tournaments, 7.5 rounds and had a team and career-low 82.26 stroke average. She tied her career-low with a 78 at the George Fox/ Phoeniz (AZ) Tournament. Brooke also earned OAC Player of the Week honors on April 23 for her efforts at the Ohio Northern University Spring Invitational Tournament (April 19-20).  Individually, Brooke earned first-team All-OAC and Academic All-OAC honors.  She helped BW compile a 63-13 combined fall-spring record and capture four tournament titles (two in the fall and two in the spring).

DO YOU BELONG TO ANY OTHER CLUBS OR ORGANIZATIONS AT B-W:   Brooke works as a student assistant in the Registrar's Office and as a student assistant in the BW Sports Information Office. She is the President of the Law Club, President of "Mock Trial", a member of the BUZZ Student Ambassadors and President of Sigma Tau Delta.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Brooke Hamilton grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from St. Joseph Academy. She golfed for four years and earned four varsity letters.

Brooke was honorable mention All-Catholic Conference in 2006 and second-team All-Conference in 2007 and 2008. She was a McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week in 2008 and a Northeast Ohio Golf Coaches Association honorable mention pick in 2008.

Brooke averaged 85.6 strokes per round as a senior in 2008.  Her best round was a 77 at Thunderbird Hills (Huron, Ohio).

Academically, Brooke earned first honors all four years, earned the Student-Athlete Award all four years and was an Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association Academic All-Ohio pick in 2008.
