BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:   Miranda Cunningham played her third season of golf at Baldwin Wallace University in 2012-2013 and earned her third varsity letter. She is one of the best female golfers in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  Miranda is a three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference player.

Miranda has had a solid first three seasons playing for the Yellow Jackets. B-W has recorded a 205-68-1 overall record, won Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament titles in 2011 and 2012 and placed 16th at the 2011 NCAA Division III National Tournament and 15th in 2012.

Individually, Miranda is a three-time All-OAC selection, including a first-team choice in 2012 and a second-team pick in both 2011 and 2013. Three times she has been named as the OAC Golfer of the Week.

Statistically, Miranda has played in 32 tournaments and 59.5 rounds of 18 holes and averages 85.78 strokes per round.  She had a career-best round of 77 on the second day of the 2013 George Fox (Ore.)/ Phoenix (AZ) Tournament on the spring break trip.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Miranda played her first season of golf and earned her first varsity letter. During the 2010 fall season, she played in all six tournaments and 10 rounds and averaged 85.90 strokes per round to rank second on the team.  The Yellow Jackets won invitational tournaments at Grove City (Pa.) College and at Capital University.  During the 2011 spring season, Miranda helped B-W win the University of Mt. Union Invitational. She played in six tournaments and 12 rounds and averaged 88.50 strokes per round. The Yellow Jackets compiled a 83-18 combined record, won four tournament titles, including the 2011 OAC title and placed 16th at the NCAA Division III National Tournament. She was named second-team All-OAC.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Miranda competed in her second season of golf and earned her second letter.  In the fall of 2011, she played in five tournaments and eight rounds and averaged 86.13 strokes per round as BW won the Heidelberg University Invitational.  In the spring of 2012, she played in seven tournaments and 14 rounds and averaged 85.29 strokes per round. BW compiled a 59-42-1 overall record, won the OAC title and placed 15th at the 2012 NCAA Division III National Tournament. Miranda had a season-best round of 80 in the first round of the NCAA tourney. She was named first-team All-OAC.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Miranda played her third season of golf and earned her third letter. During the 2012 fall season, she led BW to a titles at both the Otterbein-Capital Invitational and at The College of Wooster Invitational. Miranda was named as the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week twice: on Oct. 9, 2012 for her runner-up effort at Wooster and again when she placed third individually at the Wittenberg tourney. Miranda was second on the team in stroke average at 83.50 in five tournaments and 10 rounds and had a season-low 78 on the first day of the Wooster tourney. During the Spring of 2013, she averaged 84.55 strokes per round, and played 5.5 rounds in three tournaments.  Miranda had a career-low 77 on the second day of the George Fox (Ore.) University Spring Break Invitational Tournament in Peoria, Arizona.  BW Compiled a 63-13 record.  Miranda earned second-team All-OAC honors.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Miranda will be one of the top returning players in the OAC.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Miranda Cunningham grew up in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Dayton Christian High School.

Miranda played men's varsity golf for four years and earned four letters. She also participated in womens basketball for one year and earned a letter, and played softball for four years and lettered four times.  

In golf, Miranda earned a "Sportsmanship" Award for three years, was a first-team All-Metro Buckeye Conference selection, advanced to the OHSAA District Tournament three times and the OHSAA State Tournament once.  She also received the Dayton Christian H.S. "Consistency" Award.

In softball, Miranda was a four-time All-MBC honoree.

In basketball, Miranda earned "Sportsmanship", Obedience",  "Consistency", "Leadership" and "Intensity" awards.
