BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Alissa Munro played her second season of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University and earned her second varsity letter.

ATHLETIC HONORS:  As a freshman in 2012-2013, Alissa was named to the Franklin (Ind.) College All-Tournament team.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Alissa earned Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors on February 17, 2014 for her efforts in wins versus John Carroll University and Marietta College.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012- 2013, Alissa played her first season of basketball and earned her first varsity letter.  She came off the bench to appear in all 25 games and averaged 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds-per-game. She shot 47.6 percent (49-of-103) from the field, including a team-best 46.9% (30-of-64) from three-point range, and led the team with 30 three pointers.  Alissa also tallied 12 assists, 10 blocked shots and eight steals.  She was named to the Franklin (Ind.) College All-Tournament team. She scored in double-figures five times, including in the first three games of her career, and registered a season-high 14 markers in consecutive games against Franklin (Ind.) College on November 17, 2013 and versus Case Western Reserve University on Nov. 20, 2013.

As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Alissa competed in her second season of basketball and earned her second varsity letter.  She appeared in 29 games, averaged 9.6 points and 3.0 rebounds-per-game. Alissa also registered 23 assists, 18 steals and 14 blocks. She also led the team in both three-point field goals made (58) and three-point field goal percentage (45%). Alissa earned Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors on February 17, 2014 for her efforts in wins versus John Carroll University and Marietta College.

HIGH SCHOOL BACKGROUND:  Alissa Munro grew up in Mamnsfield, Ohio and graduated from Lexington High School. She played four years of basketball and earned four varsity letters.  

Alissa topped the 1000 point mark in her four-year career. As a sophomore, she was second-team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference and honerable mention All-District 6.  As a junior, Alissa was first-team OCC, Special Mention All-Northwest District and second-team All-District 6.  As a senior, she was first-team OCC, second-team District 6 and third-team All-Northwest District.
