ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Sport Management

BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a junior in 2013-14, Shari played her third season of basketball at Baldwin Wallace University and earned her third varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS:   Shari is a solid student who carries a 3.42 grade point average.

ATHLETICS HONORS:  As a junior in 2013-2014, Shari was named to the Ohio Athletic Conference all-tournament team. Shari also made her first All Ohio Athletic Conference aquad as a second team choice.

BASKETBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2011-2012, Shari competed in her first season of basketball and earned her first varsity letter. She played in all 27 games and averaged 3.1 points and 1.2 rebounds-per-game. She was third on the team with 39 assists and recorded nine steals. She had a season-best 12 points on January 28, 2012 in a 77-56 victory against Wilmington College. B-W finished 17-10 overall.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Shari played her second season of basketball and earned her second varsity letter.  She played in all 25 games and averaged 1.7 ppg. and 0.8 rpg. and dished out eight assists.  She scored a season-high 10 points in a 94-59 win against Heidelberg University on Jan. 16, 2013.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Shari played her third season of basketball and earned her third varsity letter. She started all 29 games, averaged 10.8 points and 2.0 rebounds-per-game. She also registered 40 assists and 20 steals while shooting 43.6% (48-110) from the three-point line which was second on the team. Shari scored a career-high 24 points against Capital University on February 27, 2014. She earned Ohio Athletic Conference All-Tournament team honors and was named as a second-team All-OAC player. BW was the OAC regular season co-champs and advanced to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Shari Mangas grew up in Leipsic, Ohio and graduated from Leipsic High School. Shari played four years of basketball and softball and earned four varsity letters in both sports.

In basketball, Shari earned multiple accolades inculding First Team  All-Putnam County League, Blanchard Valley Conference, and District 8. She also earned third-team Northwest, Ohio during her junior and senior years.

In softball, as senior she earned a first team All-PCL and BVC honors. Statistically, her career highs include 35 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five steals.
